We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
I enjoy getting to know my patients and learning about their lives. It’s a joy to deliver gentle, thorough dental hygiene care that improves my friends’ oral health and smiles. I’m attentive to each person’s concerns and work hard to help them take control of their dental health. While I clean my patient’s teeth, I talk with them about their mouth. Together, we identify home care processes that work for their needs and lifestyle.
My husband Herbie and I live in Cumberland, where we raised our two sons. We have two granddaughters now, and I love time with them and the rest of my family. I also enjoy going to the beach, reading, traveling, cooking, and being with friends. Life has been good to me.
I enjoy sharing my dental hygiene knowledge with patients. I want to guide them toward excellent oral health and happy smiles. I like helping people achieve their personal dental goals and enjoy encouraging and educating them. It’s amazing to see a person take control of their oral health and achieve a smile they love. I offer a lot of dental education while I’m preventing and treating periodontal disease. Seeing a healthy smile at a recall visit makes me smile.
I’m married and have two amazing boys. Though I love my work, my heart goes to being a mother. I have a passion for children’s literature and am head of the children’s liturgy program at our church. I also love chocolate and coconut. I try to avoid the news and delight in finding wisdom and happiness in my family and friends.
I love making our patients smile and love being part of making their smiles healthier! Each of our patients has their own goals and needs. Our doctors and team concentrate on delivering care that helps each person attain the healthy, happy smile he or she deserves. I help patients during visits: preparing them to see the doctor and explaining what will happen. Then I work chairside, to assist the doctor while supporting the patient. I also help our appointment coordinator.
My husband is on active duty in the U.S. Army. When I’m not working, I love to work out, eat all kinds of delicious food, and outdoors activities, such as hiking!
I enjoy building relationships with patients and their families. It’s a real blessing to improve a person’s smile and their self-confidence, and I love being part of that process. I enjoy helping others and am attentive to our patients who are fearful or in pain. I talk with patients about what’s going to happen during their procedure, prepare them, and make sure they’re comfortable and relaxed. Then I provide chairside assistance to our doctors and patients.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. I also like attending my church, where I sing in the choir and am an assistant Sunday School teacher and assistant treasurer.
I love what I do. Dental health is a big part of people’s overall health and well-being. It’s important to me to help people, in whatever way I can, to reach optimal oral health. I assist our patients with their paperwork and scheduling visits. I review financials with patients, and find the terms that work with their budget. I also help patients get the most from their insurance and handle the paperwork so they don’t need to worry about it.
My wonderful husband Joe and I have been married since 1982. We have a son and two daughters. Each has married and blessed Joe and I with grandchildren who are the light of our lives. My animals are a huge part of my life: chickens, a rabbit, a cat, and two dogs. My passion is the youth of our community. I enjoy working with the youth program through my home church.
